Balayage treatment for tightly curly hair requires a much more delicate approach compared to simple perm or straightening services.

In particular, balayage designs that involve bleaching have varying levels of damage across different sections of the hair,
so detailed technique is essential—from product selection to the softening process.


This client had overall strong, tightly curly hair,
but the balayage-treated sections were already significantly damaged.
If the same approach had been applied to all areas,
it could have worsened the overall condition of the hair.

Therefore, we applied a key technique for balayage on tightly curly hair—
a “sectional separation process.”
The previously bleached sections were individually wrapped and protected,
while the healthy hair was treated first in a controlled, step-by-step softening process.

The service was performed using a restorative straightening method,
aiming to preserve the internal bonds of the hair as much as possible,
and applying the product only where it was precisely needed
to naturally smooth and relax the curls.

Even after completing the color service,
we were able to maintain the hair’s elasticity and shine,
thanks to a fully customized approach tailored to the damage level of each section.
